Sara Ellen Ector Via Pais Vagliano
was a remarkable woman. Complex and complicated.
Brilliant, wickedly funny, and beautiful to boot.
Over seventy-eight years, her voracious appetite for ideas and art took her from the suburbs of Atlanta to the libraries of Paris, from the ivied halls of Princeton to the towers of Manhattan. Along the way, she touched the lives of so many people who now feel her loss profoundly.
Although she didn't want a memorial, I feel it is important for those of us who loved her to have an opportunity to come together to celebrate her.
I hope this site gives us that opportunity.
